Brevets

Very early brevets were hand written in Chinese with the Imperial seal in red. Later the brevets for the Order is an intricate document. It has traditional Chinese script on the left and French on the right. Liverpool Medal Company reports an original (pre-1950) brevet, measuring 19.5 by 14.5 inches.
